A rough guide on making a Pastrami sandwich. Lots of work, and lots of time, but worth every minute. I enjoy smoked meat, I also enjoy corned beef, and if you put them together, you end up with pastrami. I enjoy a good pastrami sandwich on caraway rye bread, with a nice bold deli mustard. This recipe is a lot of work, a lot of time, but produces a great sandwich.

Vinegar, salt, pepper, and garlic! And in a one pot dish that is easy to cook, and requires very little prep time. What is not to love! It works well on its own, or goes great over steamed rice.
